St Andrews

The Annual Schools Art Exhibition organised by Chesterfield Rotary Club and seven secondary schools in Chesterfield and North Derbyshire and hosted by St Andrew's Church takes place in St Andrew's Church and halls over the weekend of 6th and 7th October.  The exhibition will be officially opened at 10.00am on Saturday 6th October when the Mayor and Mayoress of Chesterfield and Toby Perkins MP will attend.  Certificates will be awarded to 10 students from each school.

Craig Longmuir, senior schools co-ordinator, says "This annual art exhibition provides a great opportunity for the local community to see at first hand the very high standard that is being achieved by local art students".

This is the third year the exhibition takes place and is a fine memorial to Ian Gordon, a member and elder of St Andrew's Church who died last year, who worked so hard with Rotary Club colleagues to bring this annual exhibition to fruition.

Everyone is welcome to visit and view the art work between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Saturday and 1.00 - 4.00pm on Sunday.
