We are a local congregation in Holymoorside belonging to the United Reformed Church.

We are situated on Cotton Mill Hill, in Holymoorside  which is the road which runs from the centre of the village, past the Bull's Head and up by the cemetery.   Our church is on the north side of the road by the bridge over the river.

We are joined in morning services (9.30am) by members of the village Methodist church which sadly closed in 2012.  The church is open to everyone – new friends are always welcome!

A wide variety of activities go on at our church:
Sunday worship, Bible study, Church Meeting, Cotton Millers Club, as well as a variety of social events.

We share in ecumenical activities with other churches in the village, including a monthly Wednesday ecumenical communion service.

We run lots of community events, including the bi-annual flower festival (pictured right), concerts, talks, lunches and an autumn fair.   These events are valued in the village and are well attended.  We participate in the annual village well dressing service and activities, including serving teas in the village hall.

We were formed in 1852 and have served the people of Holymoorside for over 150 years.  We still bear witness to Christ in the village and welcome all who come to join us for worship and our events.

Holymoorside Church operates under the umbrella Registered Charity Number, 511712, of the United Reformed Church East Midlands Synod.
